Excursion:
A group of students are on an excursion. It's just an ordinary outing to a museum. They joke and sing, happy not to be at school.
They pass through iron gates and enter space surrounded with barbed wire.
They enter a part of our history, which is obscure to them - where millions of fellow citizens died, where hopes of millions and millions of people were buried under the camp dust.
Sergey Kovalev, well-known human rights advocate, and Viktor Shmyrov, director of Memorial museum of political repression "PERM36", took part in creating this film.
